@fjellphoto@pixelfed.social I'm still very new to it. Things I like:
- the web interface: Home feed only shows photos as in a big photo gallery. There's an "Editor's choice" feed which allows you to discover good photographers. "Trending" shows way more stuff and has Photos/Artists/Tags sections which can be sorted by Daily/Monthly/Yearly.

- uploading a photo has got all the usual things + metadata / geolocation WITH coordinates / categories. Quality of the uploaded image looks great.
- on Mobile, when used with Pixelix, the experience is just like pixelfed (but reblogs do actually work)
