@crimsonbutterfly I saw one once while out walking and it panicked and went to ground. I stood still watching it for a while until it calmed down, came up and poked me in the shoe with its nose then shuttled away

(Ok so you have to actually look for a platypus, but in the 3 weeks we were in Tassie, we didn’t see an echidna maybe 4 of those days).
