Lately, I realised I like zoomed-out photos of birds a little bit more. Instagram has conditioned us to like to super close-up portrait of birds, and they're pretty. Who doesnt like seeing the intricacies of the feathers? But its very limiting for me and I kinda always end up taking similar shots. Im learning to not overcrop and enjoy the habitat as much as I enjoy the bird..

@crimsonbutterfly mmm that became a habit of mine also; teaching oneself to let the image have space and breathe is a skill in itself, I think.
