Rifugio Cima Fiammante // Lodnerhütte located in the „Texelgruppe“
Wasn‘t sure whether to post this on #MountainMonday or #ThrowbackThursday…it has been dormant in the archive for some years. Back then with a Canon, a Sigma lens and postprocessing with #darktable.

// Exif on post‘s instance
a great photo but we should condemn the 1st world lifestyle shown here

I am constantly surprised as to where people build structures. Well captured.
On a side note, your caption reads "exif on post's instance". Can you include info in a post that remains local?

@bananamangodog@pixelfed.au yes. We were hiking quite some time to reach this shelter for the night. It’s amazing to see such a large house, once you get there.

@bananamangodog@pixelfed.au Regarding the exif info about focal length, exposure etc: I switched to Vernissage to have this added automatically, since I’m too lazy to type it out each time on my phone.
It’s openly accessible on the Vernissage server, so it’s not hidden in any way.
Since you are on pixelfed: the free and open app Pixelix is a decent pixelfed client. They are currently implementing to support showing Vernissage exifdata, so users would see that in the pixelix app right away.

Ahh ok, so Vernissage have implemented exif extraction from the uploaded images? Nice! 👍🏻
Will have to check it out and see if my local will set it up too. Would be nice if pixelfed implemented it baked in.

@basepair Fantastisch!
