@nuwagaba2@mastodon.social Sort of. It's from my mom's. She didn't do a great job. These are the overlooked, beat-up things I found she wasn't harvesting. It's been a weird experience but I learned a lot. Very good tomatoes this year.

I just barely help my mom. She's got some squash, melon, peppers, and a few tomatoes to finish up. Just small barrels. I've learned to revive a fig tree and it's yielding delicious fruit. There's a blood orange tree I'm going to work on. Two apple trees put off a lot of fruit for the first time but the birds got almost all of it. Lesson learned.
My mom also has a small bit of wine grapes to be harvested soon, too.
You do some farming for yourself?

@EricBono
Great work done, I do farming with a group of 13 young volunteer farmers to combat hunger in our society. We do this by growing and distributing food to the needy, training and equipping local farmers with skills and materials such as seeds, fertilizers and pesticides to increase food production, we also train children in our community sustainable farming practices to increase food production

Do you have the same farming clubs there?

@nuwagaba2@mastodon.social
That's very inspiring. We need more people like you on Earth!
I can't say I know of anything just like that in the US. We have 4H and Future Farmers of America, and other clubs kids can join, but they're broadly about agriculture and more about raising livestock. One high school I attended taught "Garden Science" and I took that in 9th grade but never utilized any of the knowledge till now, 50 years later. I hope you start a global movement.
@EricBono
Great harvest, is it the last one from your garden?
