Before I decided to make this photo, I stood there for a few minutes, wondering what could possibly be the purpose of these planks and water bottles. If it is to protect the tyres from the sun, they're not doing a great job.

@BlameDutchie Probably to prevent dogs/cats from peeing on the wheels. Like a scarecrow of sorts. I did a quick search online, seems like it's not even local, I found mentions of Italy, Spain, even Japan...

@maique@social.lol Now you mention something... I remember hpw pissed I would get (no pun intented) whenever a dog pissed against my motorbike... So, yeah... kinda makes sense... But... Big dogs on high legs; would they give a shite about this setup?
