My first weevil!

I'm guessing this is a member of *Otiorhynchus*, but my insect knowledge is too limited for me to take a guess at which one of the 1500 species in that genus we're looking at here 😅

After I snapped a bazillion photos, this beetle fell off the leaf in a posture that made me think it was dead; however, now I'm reading that playing dead is a common strategy for some weevils! Maybe not dead after all 🤷‍♂️
