A closer view of one of those patches of *Achlys triphylla* (w.wiki/B73m).

Still haven't been able to track down why one of the common names for this plant is "vanilla-leaf" 🤔

They don't smell or taste of vanilla, and as far as I know, they don't resemble vanilla either . . .
