A beautifully preserved old-fashioned coal stove stands against a wooden-paneled wall, its glossy dark metal surface reflecting the warm glow from within. Behind the curved glass panels, soft orange-red coal embers are glowing steadily, giving off a gentle, comforting heat. The fire is not roaring but calmly alive, radiating a sense of quiet winter warmth. Around the stove hang traditional fireplace tools and copper accents, adding to the timeless, homely atmosphere. The base shows light traces of ash, a sign of regular, loving use. This is Cynni’s parents’ stove, a familiar and cherished sight during the colder months. In winter—and especially around Christmas—Cynni’s dad carefully tends the coals, making sure the stove glows just right, filling the room with warmth, safety, and a deep sense of comfort and tradition.

I just shared this older image of my parent's old coal stove with friends, and I thought I could share it here as well...

Every year, especially around Christmas time, my dad will fill the stove, and make sure it's glowing softly and warm, making Christmas very comfortable and cozy.
